Hey Raleigh! Look!

[ Wu looks... almost the same at first glance. He's grinning brightly into the Omni, somewhere in the Raccoon Room, and then sets the Omni down on the ground. He drops down there too and assume the plank position that Raleigh taught him all those months ago. Raleigh will know that Wu doesn't like planks, and doesn't like push-ups particularly, so him doing this unprompted is odd to behind with.

And then, he proceeds to do a push-up, then another, then another, until he hits ten. Raleigh might notice that his arms are significantly bigger then their usual wet noodle consistency, his torso thicker, and his form? Is pretty damn good. He manages the push-ups and is only a little breathless by the end of it, sweeping up his Omni to grin at Raleigh again. ]

And now: I'm never doing that again.

[Is it possible to look scandalized, proud, and impressed all at once? Because that's where we're at.

Raleigh picked up without much thought because he always enjoys chatting with Wu but this is not at all what he was expecting. He watches, brows pinned high, and stops his task to devote his complete attention. By the time Wu has finished he's grinning ear to ear.]

No? That was smooth. You've really been putting the work in, you look great.

I have not! No work, at all. [ He waves a finger in the air, now sitting cross-legged in front of the Omni, but his legs are so big and unwieldy ] That was terrible and I hated it.

Is this how it feels to have muscles? Like you can crush anything if you're not careful? I don't like it, Raleigh! I don't like it at all.

[He snorts and nods.]

Yeah, that's about the jist of it. And you're hungry all the time. You've gotta sustain all that muscle.

This is a shedding thing, huh? You just woke up yoked? What's Mako think?

Yes, I woke up like this. [ hair flip ] She-- yes, she's still a she-- doesn't like it. Um, at all. She took one look at me and-- Raleigh! The distain in her face. Distain.

I don't mind eating more... And I guess it's nice to be able to pick up heavy things? But it's all so-- I'm so big. I don't fit into any of my clothes and I keep running into things!

[He tries not to laugh, he really does, but it's hard and Raleigh has to cover his mouth with his hand.]

That's rough, buddy.

If you need clothes you can borrow Chuck's. He isn't using them right now.

It is rough! It's so rough. We had something good going until I woke up like this! We had something good going when I was normal and even when I was a girl-- that was a whole thing, Raleigh-- and now, because I have muscles now, she won't even look at me.

[ HUFF ]

People can have weird reactions to bigger guys. You're perceived as a threat even if you aren't.

[ But, clearly, that isn't best case scenario here. He frowns at Raleigh, holding the Omni closer to himself ]

[He’s trying to say this in a way that doesn’t make him look shallow and sexist.]

I love Chuck no matter what, I love him. I do.
