Yeah, all of those things. Back then when you became a Jaeger pilot you weren't just an elite soldier, you became a celebrity. Which was fun in a lot of ways for a nobody who came from nothing.

But also scary and there was zero privacy. It was a big change and a lot of pressure to not screw up when the whole world is relying on you.
